Aaron. My heart felt sympathies go out to you and your "other family".
Knowing the kind of person you are and now seeing where it comes from, show me that you truly are a great person and friend. You have been given a great gift in a moment of darkness. Even from beyond she is still teaching you. Even if you do not know it yet.

Cherish what time you have with the ones you love and care about because tomorrow may be to late.

Very touching Aaron. I will say this much. I would not have passed high school without her. Her class was my last credit needed and halfway through I missed 3 weeks because I was very sick. She called my parents daily and met with them numerous times to help me keep up with the class.

Very well done. My heart goes out to you on the loss of your other mom. I had her for Expository Writing in my senior year. Even though everyone in the class had read Huck Finn for the fourth time during her class she kept it fun and interesting. I kept her steps of writing a research paper that she gave me until it fell apart sometime during grad school. I don't think I will ever forget the smile and wink she gave me one time when she introduced her student teacher to us… we both know him Jeff Pumphrey… she let both Jeff and I get away with catching up between the lesson and the in class work. Cherish the memories you have they will get you through the rough times.
